Dear Members and Friends,

We hope you had the opportunity to enjoy the 2015 season at the Horse Park of
New Jersey. The Park was proud to host a wide range of events for multiple disciplines, including: the BLM Dressage Championships; Garden State Combined Driving Event; Centered Riding® Clinics; Susan G. Komen Ride For The Cure; Judged Trail Ride; Summer Fun Shows; Barrel Racing Series; open schooling days for members; and our best-ever Jersey Fresh International Three Day Event!

2016 brings the promise of an even more exciting year!  Many shows have already booked their dates for 2016, and we are excited to announce that Jersey Fresh 2016 (May 11-15) will be an Olympic selection venue on the way to Rio. Please make your plans early to join us for a day with our nations best event horses and riders as they vie for a spot on our country's Eventing Team. Go USA!

The Footing Campaign is underway with a primary goal of rallying support for Phase 1. The first ring renovation will be a huge accomplishment in the stewardship of this Park and will help to ensure the Park's longevity and the commitment to provide a safe, competitive facility for all horses.

The Park is eager to explore new ways to serve our membership. We heard your request for more park access! We expanded our program and have scheduled Open Schooling Days for HPNJ members on the first and third Thursday of every month! This special park access is open to Active Equestrian, Business/Professional and HPNJ Life members.

To enhance communication with the membership, look for the new HPNJ newsletter, a revamped web page, and an ongoing presence on Facebook. We are seeking your input on new ways that the Park can support our equine community, so please get in touch and let us know what we can all do to create a better Horse Park!

Competitors and spectators are the most visible users of the Park, but behind them are vets, farriers, tack stores, feed stores, hay growers, hotels, restaurants, stores, and many others who benefit from the Park's presence. So please take a look at the varied membership levels we offer and show your support for sustaining a Horse Park that makes the New Jersey equine community proud!

As you may know, the Park is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization that needs to be self-sufficient—we do not receive any State funding. Therefore, having you as a member of the Horse Park is vitally important to maintaining this facility and preserving this wonderful green space in our community.

Please join or renew your membership for 2016 now. You can download the membership form from the website, or better yet, explore our updated website and join or renew online. Click the "JOIN NOW" button below, or go to: www.horseparkofnewjersey.com
